Please be informed that unionised cargo truckers have commenced unlimited strike action in Korea from 7th June 2022, demanding freight fare hikes and other assistance measures to cope with soaring fuel prices.
The strike is set for an unspecified period and the impact is already being felt where freight transport has slowed or stopped, including some ports, petrochemical complexes, container depots, and other logistics hubs throughout Korea.
