Please note upcoming closures at Patrick’s and DP World terminals on Tuesday, 26th November 2024, due to authorised MUA stop work meetings. These closures are expected to create operational challenges, including limited availability of time slots for import and export containers throughout the week. Reefer exports, in particular, may experience extended stays in our yard, requiring powered storage.

Key Details:

DP World Brisbane

  • Time of Closure: 7:00 am – 11:00 am
  • Impact:
    • Terminal operations will cease during this period.
    • Road operations will remain active through modules, but the old yard will not be serviced.

DP World Melbourne

  • Time of Closure: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
  • Impact:
    • All terminal operations will cease during this period.

Nationwide Impact

The MUA AGM will also take place between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm on 26th November, prompting most terminal operators across Australia to pause operations during this time.

How This May Affect You:

  • Time Slot Availability: Securing time slots for both imports and exports may be challenging, leading to potential delays.
  • Reefer Storage: Reefer exports may require longer stays in powered storage, resulting in additional charges.
  • Delivery Fleets: There will be increased strain on delivery schedules and fleets.

Our team will work diligently to minimise disruptions and keep you updated on any delays or charges that may arise due to these closures. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your contact at Kerry Logistics Oceania.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
