The Kuok Group (the holding company of the Kerry Logistics Network) acquires Kerry Logistics Australia (at the time known as Charlick Trading).
Our Australian business invests in local logistics infrastructure, including opening a 40,000 SQM rail terminal in Port Adelaide.
Charlick Trading is rebranded as Kerry Logistics Australia.
Kerry Logistics Australia launches International Freight Forwarding operations, and quickly becomes a major player in the local logistics market.
Kerry Logistics Australia opens a 13,000 sqm warehouse in Adelaide.
National expansion of our international freight forwarding operations provides comprehensive logistics services to all Australian states and territories.
What is known as Kerry Logistics Oceania today, is founded in Auckland as Lead Logistics.
Kerry Logistics Australia acquires Mosquito Cold Chain Logistics to form Kerry Logistics Cold Chain Australia and establishes a presence in climate-controlled logistics services.
Lead Logistics opens its first South Island office in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Following a joint venture with Kerry Logistics Australia, Lead Logistics is rebranded to Kerry Logistics Oceania, while retaining local management across both countries.
Kerry Logistics Cold Chain Australia opens a purpose-built cold chain facility in Laverton North, Melbourne, boasting over 7,500 sqm of freezer, chilled, and ambient storage options.
Our Sydney branch is relocated to Caringbah, increasing our New South Wales footprint by an additional 1,800+ sqm of warehouse and container space.
The first trucks are added to the Auckland cartage fleet.
A new head office and warehouse opens in Auckland, providing 3,000 sqm floor space and 1,150+ pallet positions.
The Auckland warehouse capacity expands by an additional 1,000 sqm after taking over the lease of the building next door.
A global merger with S.F. Holding (the largest integrated express logistics service provider in China) marks the launch of Kerry Logistics Oceania and Kerry Logistics Australia’s international express services through KEX Express. Today, we manage office and warehouse facilities across 6 locations, a fleet of 30+ truck and trailer combinations (including temperature-controlled vehicles) and are proud to employ 150+ staff across Oceania.
