Please find below summary of updates we have received overnight/this morning, as we continue to deal with the effects of cyclone Gabrielle:
Port Update:
Ports of Auckland – Remains closed.
Auckland Metroport – Currently open and operating, however is running slower than usual as a result of the weather.
Container Depots:
All empty container depots are currently closed.
International Air Cargo Terminals:
Auckland International Cargo Terminal (Air NZ) remains closed. Menzies Cargo Terminal is closed until 07:00am Wednesday 15th February. Multiple international flights have been cancelled through till midday today which will cause significant flow on effects.
Deliveries:
Several cartage providers have advised that due to staff personally affected by cyclone Gabrielle and continuing high winds, pick up and deliveries will not occur today.
Auckland Warehouse:
Our Auckland facility continues to operate a skeleton crew, they will work inside and only unpack or load if safe to do so.
