The broadcast we published earlier today (Wednesday 15th February), suggested that all empty container depots were now back operating. However, we have received further clarification since, that Fergusson Link and Oak Road Empty Container Depots remain closed.

In addition, please note that due to empty container congestion which has been compounded by the cyclone Gabrielle, empty container booking availability remains at a premium. Kerry Logistics will be rejecting any detention invoices that come through as a result of lack of availability of empty container bookings.

Please find below summary of updates we have received this morning, as we continue to deal with the effects of cyclone Gabrielle:

Port Update:

Ports of Auckland & Auckland Metroport are both operational. Tauranga Port is open. Napier Port remains closed.

Container Depots:

Most empty container depots are now open. Fergusson Link and Oak Road Empty Container Depots remain closed.

International Air Cargo Terminals:

Auckland International Cargo Terminal (Air NZ) and Menzies Cargo Terminal have resumed operations this morning.

Deliveries:

Most cartage providers have advised that they are back to being fully operational. However, expect delays as they work through the backlog of pick up and deliveries. Deliveries outside of the Auckland Metro area remain affected, expect delays.

Auckland Warehouse:

Our Auckland facility is back to full operations today, however due to reduced operations over the past two days, there may be delays as we process any backlog.
