Various upcoming public holidays will be observed on Monday 03 October in NSW, QLD, SA, and ACT. Australian ports will be operating over this period for vessels with availability falling between Saturday 01 Oct through to and inclusive of Monday 03 Oct.
Several transport carriers will be providing wharf cartage services during this time. Please note, a surcharge of $190 per container will be applicable for any terminal collection/client deliveries performed. This is to cover the additional costs associated with running shifts across weekends and/or public holidays.
It is expected empty parks will either provide heavily reduced operating hours or be closed over the long weekend. Whilst every effort will be made to de-hire empty containers within the free period, Kerry Logistics will not be liable for any detention incurred.
Please note that shipping lines generally include weekends and public holidays as a part of the free day period.
