In continuation of our previous communication regarding ongoing terminal disruptions, we wish to provide an additional update with collections from DP World Melbourne over the weekend.

  • DP World Terminal experienced operational challenges due to communication issues at the Entry & Exit Gates, resulting in a high volume of trucks queuing up for hours in an attempt to enter and exit the terminal’s facility.
  • Early Saturday morning, DP World management made the decision to cancel some time zones throughout the midmorning in an attempt to regain control.
  • This resulted in trucks being turned around after waiting for hours, returning to depot without being serviced.

Some carriers were able to obtain limited slots for the PM shift on Saturday, however to ensure compliance with drivers’ working hours and driving times, not all original slots were recovered.

We will continue to monitor the situation and as always, we will notify you of any impacted deliveries.
