Kerry Logistics has received confirmation from our rail carrier partners of a derailment on the East/West rail line at Belair, South Australia (10 kilometres from Adelaide).
We have been advised this will affect all services in and out of Perth, which had only just recommenced after bushfires in Western Australia caused the rail line to be closed for several days last week.
At this stage, we do not have any clear indication of the re-opening or the severity of the delays; however, it is understood there will be delays of 24 hours as a minimum.
