Update on our previous messages on the ongoing disruptions affecting terminal and empty park operations in Melbourne (VIC) and Sydney (NSW) due to severe weather conditions. Please see the details below:
Victoria (VIC) – Melbourne:
- DP World Logistics Park is closed until further notice due to high winds.
- Some containers are currently inaccessible at DPW due to severe weather. Re-slotting is on hold until further notice
- Majority of empty parks have halted their operations until further notice
New South Wales (NSW) – Sydney:
- DP World Port Botany has cancelled the 11:00 time zones due to high wind gusts in and around the terminal.
- Operations will be reviewed hourly, and updates will be provided regarding the 12:00 zones.
Impact on Operations:
- All affected trucks currently en route or arrived at the port precinct may incur a futile fee.
- The duration of the delay is currently expected to last until 03/09/2024. However, this is subject to change based on weather conditions.
