Weather Disruptions at LPC
The Canterbury region is currently experiencing a weather front that has brought high winds and reasonable levels of rainfall. Lyttelton Container terminal (LCT) has been intermittently closed as a result of persistent high winds. Road and rail exchanges have been slightly affected as a result too. Vessel operations are currently paused until further notice.
Both City Depot and Midland Port have had disruption, with this likely to continue for the day. We will continue to update you as the day progresses.
Interislander Ferry Delays
Please note, that all ferry services have been cancelled.
There have been significant delays which have affected all freight destined for both islands. The current forecast, suggests that this will be a 24-hour cancellation. Therefore, please allow an extra day for delivery.
