Please take note of the latest updates from Port of Auckland regarding the current weather conditions and its impact on operations.
The critical period remains between 1200 hours on Sunday, 29th October and 1200 hours on Monday, 30th October.
- Terminal operations ceased early afternoon yesterday, Sunday 29th October and are expected to resume at 1900 hours Monday, 30th October.
- Fergusson Terminal R&D and Rail Operations will reopen from 1100 hours Monday morning.
- Fergusson Empty Yard will remain closed at this stage.
- Multi Cargo R&D opened at 0700 hours this morning.
Please be aware that VBS bookings made between 1600 hours on Sunday and 1100 hours on Monday will be cancelled, and charges will be waived as the Port of Auckland cannot honour these bookings. Empty Yard bookings from 0730 to 1100 will also be cancelled, and charges will be waived.
As winds are expected to remain high today, Port of Auckland wind protocols will be activated, and Road Alert will communicate any stoppages that impact Road Operations.
Port of Auckland are expected to make a further update this morning, including a review of demurrage free time. We will provide updates as received from the Port.
