Please be advised DP World Melbourne has received formal notice from the CFMMEU of intentions to take industrial action Commencing the 08th of October 2023.
Details of the pending industrial action as per below.
PLANNED CLOSURE
- Sunday 08th October 2023 1100hrs until 0800hrs on Tuesday 10th of October
- Friday 13th October 0500hrs until 0600hrs on Saturday 14th October
- Sunday 15th October 1800 – 1900hrs
- Monday 16th October 0600 – 1000hrs
- Tuesday 17th October 1800 – 2200hrs
- Thursday 19th October 0600 – 1000hrs
Full-day bans on overtime and extensions from 16/10 to 20/10.
DP World are actively working to reduce service disruptions and will provide further updates as information becomes available.
As a direct result of the above, we may see delays in container availability until early next week due to congestion through the terminal.
