Please be advised DP World Brisbane has received formal notice from the CFMMEU of intentions to take industrial action Commencing the 07th of October 2023.
Details of the pending industrial action as per below.
PLANNED STOPPAGES
07th October 2023
- From 0700hr – 1500hr : Work halt for 8 hours after ship ties to the wharf.
- From 0700hr : No subcontractor vessels accepted .
9th – 13th October 2023
- From 0700hr to 2300hr: No overtime, extensions, or over two crane gangs.
Duration of Delay: 6 days 8 hrs 0 min.
Issue Commencement: 07/10/2023 15:00
Expected Resolution: 13/10/2023 23:00
DP World are actively working to reduce service disruptions and will provide further updates as information becomes available.
As a direct result of the above, we may see delays in container availability until early next week due to congestion through the terminal.
