Our transport partners have advised they are experiencing some delays in their network due to the current weather system across the country.
- The Rail line between Picton and Blenheim has been closed due to high water levels under bridge 180. KiwiRail is completing track inspections this morning before reopening the line. As such, freight from Auckland on Wednesday that moved via Rail for Christchurch, Ashburton, Timaru regions has been delayed. All Road freight has arrived on time and will be delivered.
- Both roads between Blenheim and Nelson remain closed. All Nelson freight ex Auckland from Wednesday is currently being held in Blenheim awaiting road clearance.
- Freight ex Christchurch for Blenheim is currently held in Nelson again waiting for road clearance. This will be moved as soon as possible once the roads reopen.
