There is a possibility protesters could assemble today at the entrance to Lyttelton Port to protest trade between New Zealand and Israel in light of the current ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The protest activity could occur between 1330 and 1630 on Monday 18th December, or earlier from lunchtime onwards.

While we support the right to a peaceful protest, it is important that it is done peacefully and in a safe manner. We will work with local authorities to ensure the safety of staff, contractors and protestors.

Please take care when entering and exiting the Port and driving down Norwich Quay. If protesters approach you, please remain polite and move on safely.

We will continue to monitor the situation and as always, we will notify you of any impacted deliveries.

Should you have any questions or require additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact your local Kerry representative.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
