Please be advised DP World Port Botany has received formal notice from the CFMMEU of intentions to take industrial action Commencing the 07th of October 2023.
Details of the pending industrial action:
PLANNED STOPPAGES
07th October 2023
- From 0600hr – 1400hr: Work halt for 8 hours after ship ties to the wharf.
- From 0600hr: Ban on accepting subcontracted vessels.
9th – 13th October 2023
- From 0600hr to 2200hr: No overtime, extensions or upgrades.
Duration of Delay: 10 days 8 hrs 55 min.
Issue Commencement: 03/10/2023 15:00
Expected Resolution: 13/10/2023 23:55
Given the above, there will be significant challenges in obtaining Port Slots at DP World either side of the 07th October and we anticipate delays in container availability through to the 13th of October. Please note that Kerry Logistics will do all we can to collect containers within the free wharf storage period but we will not be liable should wharf storage be incurred.
