Further to our notice issued Oct 18, rail services between the Port of Tauranga and Auckland Metroport have resumed following the 5-day suspension.
Requests for the ETA of containers cannot be provided at this stage, but an indication of the potential rail date is below.
Cargo discharged post line maintenance will be prioritised by dwell in Tauranga.
- Priority will be given to Reefer and Hazardous cargo
- 20’s are expected to be up to 15 days post-discharge
- 40’s are expected to be up to 22 days post-discharge
Kiwirail will be able to provide additional services running Sunday, Oct 30, which will reduce the overall delivery profile.
